How To Stay Healthy During Winter Season?

Ten tips for staying healthy during the winter:

1. Wash your hands: Wash your hands frequently, especially before eating, after using the bathroom, and after touching things that might be contaminated. If soap and water aren't available, use hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol.

2. Stay hydrated: Drink plenty of water.

3. Get enough sleep: Aim for 6–8 hours of sleep per night.

4. Eat well: Eat a nutritious diet with fruits, vegetables, lean protein, and whole grains. You can also try eating vitamin C-rich foods like lemons, kiwifruit, capsicum, and broccoli.

5. Exercise: Regular physical activity can help boost your immunity and fight off seasonal illnesses.

6. Dress warmly: Wear layers of loose, warm clothing, including a hat, mittens, and socks.

7. Avoid stress: High-stress levels can make you more susceptible to colds and the flu.

8. Take vitamin D: Vitamin D helps strengthen your immune system, so it's important to make sure you're getting enough. You can ask your doctor about taking a vitamin D supplement or a multivitamin that contains it.

9. Cover your mouth and nose: When you cough or sneeze, cover your mouth and nose to limit the spread of germs.

10. Get vaccinated: Make sure you're up to date on your vaccinations.
